  1. Is this the Chinese flat cell battery that I’ve heard about? It’s taking absolutely too long to get to the 🍖 meat. Cylindrical lithium ion batteries just got reasonably priced. I hope.

  2. Guess this puts the nail in the coffin for flexvolt. They used the 3 sets of 5 cells in series to reach the 60v and kept them parallel for 20v. Now with pouches they can just use larger (higher amperage) pouches rather then increasing the cell count.

    1. Higher amperage has its limit. So Flexvolt won’t go away.
For example, if you want 1620W output, Flexvolt only need 30 amp. But 20V system requires 90 amp, and that requires thick copper for continuous load.
Not just connecting wires, but also motor windings. That’s why M18 chainsaw has much bigger motor than Flexvolt chainsaw. Not to mention thicker wire costs more. (on the other hand, higher voltage requires better insulation, which costs far less)

If companies later makes far more powerful tool, something like 60V 60 amp would be a lot more feasible than 20V 180 amp. (And that’s also why MIlwaukee is making MX FUEL tools)

  3. Thx Clint for this vid👍🏻👍🏻
BATTERY PRICES JUST GOT MORE EXPENSIVE 🤦🏼, and we all thought prices were bad already, buckle up ppl, cuz it gonna be a wild ride😉

Glad DeWalt making batteries backwards compatible and w/ chargers too, hope ALL BRANDS DO THIS; as we knew these batteries were coming, and Milwaukee better do same as the other TOP BRANDS b/c it’s gonna be not fun if our thousands of dollars of tools aren’t gonna use the new batteries and gotta get new tools, batteries, and chargers….cough cough Makita XGT, cough😉🤣
So, wonder what Milwaukee tools running (models, specs, and everything 😉), and why no FLEX🙃
Thx again Clint your Naas Like✌🏻

  4. 6:52 Isn’t it great that when Brands (every brand, even Milwaukee) uses a competitor for a demo, the brand doing the demo always WINS😉
Know someone will (if haven’t yet), are they using “Milwaukee M18 High Output CP3.0 batteries”, or the CP2.0, or better yet….the CP1.5 Battery
Also, not even I’m crazy enough to run anything lower than a 5.0 in my Circ saws 😂😂😂

  5. I would like to see the new power stack batteries in better video quality 👍 see I actually gave you two thumbs up👍👍👍👍👍and more!

  6. When I started using cordless tools in the trades in the 1990s dewalt was the dominated leader then in 2005 Milwaukee came out with lithium ion batteries with v18 /v28 line

  7. When Dewalt introduced Flexvolt ,I got onboard, very innovative company imo ,now this will keep them in the lead.

  8. As soon as I seen that picture on ig scooters saying you was in Baltimore m.d. I knew it was something to do with Stanley Black & Decker and have family out there daddy only company out there that’s major as soon as I saw that leaked picture I knew it was something odd I’ve seen it before it’s Chicago pneumatic 18 volt cordless tools made by TTI in red go on Vince’s channel look at that picture looks like Ridgid huh sneaky Chevron good to see the DeWalt innovating again

  9. Too much marketing wank and face masks. I like dewalt just fine, but I can do without the dramatic smoke BS. Don’t need to hear about the labor, just show me the damn baby. And for cheese and rice, where’s the ratchet like the competition offers?

  10. All these influencers should have refused to wear masks and social distanced. Total BS at this point, everyone knows it

    1. Haha really dude that’s all you notice? Turn a tool announcement into a conspiracy theory. You can return to your moms basement now

  11. Omg when I saw the fog I was like no way I know dewalt didn’t hire Magic Mike to come out dancing with dewalt tools in hand. I’m super stoked about these new batteries and I also saw a leak pic that flex is also doing the same to their batteries.

  12. Dewalt should have paid a more interesting speaker to introduce the battery, though I don’t think this type of intro is even necessary for power tool batteries. Just use in store promotions and YouTube advertisements

  13. For all of the people that talk about Milwaukee there is not a lot of difference, Dewalt has much better ergonomics IE more comfortable to use and the 12 volt is no competition Dewalt is much more comfortable I have both so I know what I’m talking about. Power wise not much if any difference in most of their tools.

    1. I’m interested in the powerstack because it might be small enough to not go past the nose on my ryobi bid11xr. That teeny tiny battery would go so nicely with the teeny tiny ryobi 😀

  14. I’ve used these in my racing RC’s for a decade wondered how long it would take to be used in tools.

  15. Love my Dewalt tools…now I’m wondering…how much do those batteries cost??? I’m betting they’re pricy! Also, young man…..GET THE HELL OUT OF BALTIMORE!!! You know it’s called the armpit of Maryland, don’t you? Personally, I have a much lower opinion of Bal-mer than that…..WAY lower on the body than armpit…if you get my meaning!!! Thank you, though, for putting your life in danger for us!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸There will be a special place in Heaven for you because of that!!👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    1. Cause they dont like overheating or sudden impacts.
These will be shit for anything other than light use in impact and drills

    1. Yeah, they probably knew something was coming. There have definitely been some rumblings about this event. This new design looks m awesome though. I’ll de a full edited video when I get back home 👊

    2. @Tool Review Zone Thanks! Pretty much confirms my suspicions.

Flex leak likely to try to ride on DeWalt’s coat tails.

    3. Depends when the invite went out for this.

Could be the Flex leak was to steal a little DeWalt thunder.

DeWalt still came organized, not just a picture of a box.
