I don’t have any experience with chainsaws but thought a budget friendly electric one would come in handy from time to time. Picked up a Portland saw at Harbor Freight this weekend. It works fine for cutting larger fallen limbs into manageable pieces, but it does make a very rough cut. Is this due to the blade quality or speed? I know HF isn’t the place to get high end tools, but I know that some can be pretty decent with a little tweaking. Any changes worth making to this saw or should I just accept it as it is?
